User Reviews for My Tot Clock: Helping Small Children Sleep Better...So Paren

A must for any parent.
I love this clock! its incredibly well made and has multipule uses. My 3 year old son was always a good sleeper but lately he began to throw tantrums because he didn\'t wanted to go to bed and he would get up as soon as it was light. He now goes to bed most nights happily because he wants to see his clock and listen to the story and he tell\'s me in the morning that he waited till the light turned yellow before he got up.

Not only is this a great product the customer service I received was outstanding! I have dealt with many companies over the years and I have to say this is the best I\'ve dealt with. They were helpful, kind, caring, responded to my e-mail promptly and made me feel like I was an important customer. I can not say enough about this product and company and would highly recommend them. I will be passing the word around to all the mum\'s I know, thank you White Dove Innovations!

Clock provides help to sleepy parents
I found this product when looking for something that would keep my five year old son from waking us up in the middle of the night. Unlike a toddler, he didn\'t seem to need anything--he was just clueless as to the time! In Europe, there is a similar clock called sleepytime bunny which closes his eyes when it is \"night\" and opens them when it is \"daytime.\" This clock works perfectly for the same purpose--it is a visual aid for when to go to bed/get up: blue at night and yellow during the day (and you set the settings for what YOU consider daytime). The product has really helped my son understand not to wake us up unless his clock is yellow. We struggled a little to get music component to work, then we got it to work but find that we don\'t use it. The clock is good sized--you can see numbers well too. We don\'t use the \"time out\" component much but it works great for that purpose--again, giving your child a visual aid for when time is up. I highly recommend it!
This Should Be Called--My AMAZING Tot Clock!
I got the My Tot Clock because my 5 year old wouldn\'t stay in his bed. For several weeks he kept coming to our bed because he was \"scared\" at night. I tried sticking pillows all around him to keep him \"protected\" and that worked for a few nights and he was back in our bed.

I opened the Tot Clock\'s box and was expecting it to be like one of the those toys that is incredibly difficult to get out of the package but it wasn\'t...that was my first surprise because it was very nicely packaged and well protected yet super easy to take out. It comes with an adapter so you can plug it into the wall.

At first glance, the clock looks like it\'s going to take a while to set up and program, but again, I was very pleasantly surprised, it only took me 30 seconds to set up all my clock timers! I set the current time, wake, sleep, and discipline timers...it is incredibly easy. My son watched as I took it out of the box and set it up he could NOT wait! I looked over the instructions after I set up my timer and was also glad to find out that if I use the adapter the My Tot Clock doesn\'t drain my batteries...that is a bonus! The clock also lets you dim the night light for your child\'s preference which I also loved.

We got into bed and my son could not have been happier to see that clock in his room he was beside himself. I explained to him that while the light was blue he had to stay in his bed and not come to mommy and daddy\'s bed but when the light turned yellow he was welcome to come to our room. He was OK with that because he felt secure with the night light. He told me \"I love it!\"

Lo and behold, this morning the clock woke him up to music and he was very happy and told me that he loved his new clock! He was actually walking around with it! Now he\'s asking me how to tell time. Thank you to the ingenious creator of this clock. I only wish it could have been invented 11 years ago when I had my first child.

For $50, it is a steal just to get a good night\'s sleep!! I am definitely going to try it for time-outs. Buy this clock, you won\'t regret it! It\'s like having four clocks in one and it\'s built for children. He\'ll be able to use it when he starts Kindergarten too and starts reading and needs to be timed. We LOVE it!!
The Tot Clock is worth every penny!
Our 3-year old would come into our room at least two times in the middle of the night, and he would come into our room at 6 am ready to start his day. Since we purchased the Tot Clock, it took less than a week for our son to stay in his room all night, and he is staying in his room until the clock turns yellow to start his day - more sleep for us! He was talking about being scared, so since it also works as a night light, that problem has gone away, and he is sleeping much better.

Also, we were having trouble getting him to stay in his room for quiet time during the day. He gets so excited about seeing the different colors of his clock, that he is now happy about quiet time because he gets to push the light blue button, and he is staying in his room the entire time.

It works just as well for keeping him in his room for discipline issues.

It\'s fun and easy to use. We love the Tot Clock, and we HIGHLY recommend it!
Great clock for toddlers and children!
My wife and I had problems with our 2 year old daughter getting out of bed too early and walking into our bedroom and waking us up. At this age, she can\'t tell time yet, so we were looking for something to help her understand when she could and couldn\'t come out of her room.

This was solved after spending a week working this clock into our daytime and nighttime routines. She will still occasionally wake up early, but she now knows to stay in bed or play in her room until the light turns yellow and the \"wake up\" music comes on - which gives mom and dad a little more of that precious sleep.

We didn\'t have a problem getting our daughter to sleep, so we don\'t use the story/white noise feature. But whenever she sees the blue light come on, she knows that we\'re about to start the nighttime routine. In fact, if she goes to bed a little earlier than normal, she will manually activate the \"nighttime\" blue light.
